What this site is
DeckNear is a referral website for residential deck work. We connect homeowners with independent local providers for deck building, deck replacement and deck repair. We do not build decks ourselves, and we are not a party to the work that follows a referral.
Using this site means you accept these terms in plain language. If you do not accept them, do not use the referral service.
Information is general only
The information on this site is general. It covers permit steps, materials, weather and care in broad terms for the cities we publish.
It is not professional advice for your property. It is not a quote, a design, a permit decision or a safety finding. Rules and site conditions vary, so check the facts that matter for your home with your provider and, where needed, your local permit office.
Work is agreed with the provider
Any work is agreed directly between you and the independent provider you choose to hire. Your agreement, price, schedule and terms are with that provider, not with DeckNear.
We do not set a provider's price. We do not supervise, direct or inspect a provider's work. We do not guarantee a provider's work, pricing, licensing or results.
Do your own checks before you hire. Ask about licensing where it applies, ask who pulls the permit, and get the quote and scope in writing.
Privacy
Our privacy page explains what information we collect for a referral, who we share it with and how long we keep it. Read it before you share details with us.
Contact us
Questions about these terms or about the referral service go through our contact page. Questions about a quote, a price, a schedule or work in progress must go to the provider who gave the quote or is doing the work.
